Refund Policy

    Our policy on refunds for subscriptions and purchases.

    1. No Refunds on Subscriptions

    All payments made to WasteFindr for subscription plans (Findr Starter, Findr Pro, and Findr Elite) and document top-up packs are final and non-refundable. By subscribing to a paid plan or purchasing a top-up pack, you acknowledge and agree that no refunds will be issued under any circumstances, including but not limited to:

    • Early cancellation of a subscription
    • Unused time remaining on a billing period after cancellation
    • Unused documents within your monthly allocation (20 for Pro, 60 for Elite) or top-up packs
    • Downgrading from a higher-tier plan to a lower-tier plan
    • Dissatisfaction with the service
    • Failure to use the platform during a billing period

    2. Online Invoice Payments

    Findr Elite members may enable online invoice payments, allowing their customers to pay invoices via Stripe. These payments are collected by WasteFindr on behalf of the business, with payouts scheduled to the business's nominated bank account. Refund requests for online invoice payments are handled directly between the business and their customer. WasteFindr does not mediate payment disputes between businesses and their customers.

    3. Service Disputes & Refunds for Services Received

    WasteFindr is a directory and intermediary platform — we do not provide waste clearance or any other services directly. Accordingly:

    • WasteFindr accepts no responsibility for disputes relating to services received from businesses listed on the Platform.
    • WasteFindr will not issue refunds, compensation, or credits in respect of any services provided by a listed business, regardless of the outcome or quality of those services.
    • All complaints, refund requests, or disputes about work performed must be raised directly with the business that was hired for the services.
    • If you paid a business via our online invoice payments feature, any refund for that payment must be arranged directly with the business concerned.

    4. Subscription Cancellation

    You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Business Dashboard. When you cancel, your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period. No partial or pro-rated refunds will be provided for the remaining time in the billing period. For full details on how to cancel, please refer to our Cancellation Policy.

    5. Free Trials

    All tiers include a 3-month free trial from the date of registration. No charges apply during the trial period. If your trial converts to a paid subscription and you are charged, no refund will be issued. It is your responsibility to cancel before the trial period ends if you do not wish to continue with a paid plan. Automated reminders are sent 30, 14, 7, and 1 day before trial expiration to help you manage this.

    6. Document Top-Up Packs

    Document top-up packs are one-time, non-refundable purchases available to Findr Pro and Findr Elite users. Once purchased, top-up documents cannot be exchanged, transferred, or refunded regardless of whether they are used. Unused documents do not carry over between billing periods.

    7. Billing Errors

    If you believe you have been charged in error (e.g. a duplicate charge or a charge after successful cancellation), please contact us at hello@wastefindr.co.uk within 14 days of the charge. We will investigate and, where a genuine billing error has occurred, issue a correction.

    8. Statutory Rights

    This policy does not affect your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection law. If you are a consumer within the United Kingdom, you may have additional rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
